I’m a digital affiliate marketer from Wexford, Ireland. I’ve been online for more than 15 years, and I’ve made most of the mistakes you can make.

Where I started

After the economic crash in 2009, I started looking for ways to supplement my income online. I discovered subscription-based commission structures, where affiliates are paid monthly, that I never knew existed. That started me on the path I’m still on today.

The shiny object years

Like most people who start online, I jumped from one thing to the next. Traffic exchanges. Safelists. Solo ads. Every new program promised it would be the one. I spent a lot of money on them, and I posted on Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter with very little to show for it.

I kept thinking the next program would fix it. It never did.

What I was missing

The missing piece was never another program. It was my own email list. For years I didn’t build one, and that kept me stuck. I didn’t realize that It involved a “mindset” shift.

When I finally got serious about building a list, and stopped chasing the next big thing, things began to make sense. I stopped building someone else’s business and started building something that belonged to me.

What I do now

These days I keep it simple. I share the tools, systems and honest reviews I wish I’d had at the start. I look at what a program costs, what you get and who it isn’t for, then I tell you straight.

I’m still building my own list and my own website, and I share the lessons as I go, including the ones that don’t go well.

DIGIMACS is the name I chose to stand for me and my two sons.

Why I’m telling you this

I got tired of seeing good people struggle the way I did. Many of them aren’t short of effort. They’re short of honest information.

So here’s what I won’t do: promise you income, hide what something costs, or recommend a program I wouldn’t put my own name to.

It’s up to you

I can share what I’ve learned, but I can’t do it for you, and nobody honestly can. Results depend on your effort, your skills and your time, and some people don’t earn anything. What I can do is help you spend your time and money more wisely than I did.
